This year marks 75 years since the day the Lubavitcher Rebbe became the head of Chabad and world Jewry. Even at that time, many assumed that the Rebbe would be Moshiach, and since 1991 this has become known to the entire world.
Over the years, we have received many instructions from the Rebbe, the most important of which is the need to accelerate the true and complete Redemption. On this day, 11 Shvat, we take on the authority of the Rebbe SHLITA King Moshiach with renewed vigor, spreading his instructions everywhere and to everyone.
We never speak of the Rebbe in the past tense. We study his works, which are more relevant than ever, try to visit him in “770,” and also receive blessings, advice, and instructions from him through “Igrot Kodesh.”
Let us also try to use the opportunity given to us to hasten the coming of the Redemption by proclaiming “Long live our master, teacher, and Rebbe King Moshiach!” and signing the declaration of assuming the authority of the Rebbe King Moshiach.
